Student’s Account
All music students have an account with the music boosters. For privacy reasons we have created a new system for our music families regarding their music account. The new system will be available to everyone to view and understand when payments are due and fundraising credits are applied. Each student will be assigned a special 4 letter word that is associated with their individual music account. For families with multiple music students, they will still have their own individual 4 letter word, but the registration fees will reflect the discount for siblings. The special 4 letter word will be issued to students during class. For financial privacy reasons we encourage not sharing your information with other students or parents/guardians. The assigned word will be associated with the student for 4 years or if they are part of the OFHS Music program.
The student’s account spreadsheet will be updated the 3rd Wednesday of each month. If there are any discrepancies, please email: [email protected]

Fundraising
OFHS Music Boosters offers several different fundraising opportunities throughout the year. Here are some of the fundraisers we offer; Domino’s Pizza cards (50% profit), Boon Supply (40% profit), Raise Right (varies), and Meadow Farms (20%-40% profit). The most profitable would be our sponsorship program. The sponsorship program offers the music families an opportunity to earn 100% of the funds they receive from businesses.
Students can earn money from participating in music fundraisers and sponsorship programs. They are allowed to use the money in their account to purchase musical supplies, trip payments, registration fees, and more. Money earned and payments during the years are tracked by the Treasurer.

What Should You Know?
- The money earned in fundraising and/or the sponsorship program is not personal money but Booster Money. Any remaining funds that a student does not use before graduation, the funds will automatically transfer to the Main Music Boosters account.
- If a student is not in any music classes for a full year, their money goes back into the Booster account.
- A student may only transfer funds to a brother or sister that is in band concurrently with them (with the one exception that a student graduates and their brother/sister joins the program the very next school year).
- The use of the music account money must be pre-approved by the music executive board and must be band or choir related. For reimbursement the student will need to fill a Reimbursement Form (paper copy) and attached the receipt(s) to the form. Once it is submitted the student will receive a check for reimbursement.
